Academics Accomplishments

We have exciting updates from the month of March. To start, the children are doing great academically and attending school properly. Some of them received their semester or half-year results in the report month. Tekalign Teshome scored the highest among the Addis children, and from the Sodo kids, Samuel Alaho, Asrat Fanta, and Tesfanesh Omate stood first. In total, there were 10 top students in the semester. Let's celebrate all that they've accomplished!

Dairy Farm Training

B Loved Ethiopia trained its staff members to effectively manage and handle the dairy farm. Dr. Abenezer Tesfaye from Debrezeit facilitated the training. The staff members were thoroughly impressed and found it valuable. The Dairy Farm has continued to grow, they now have eight cows, and three of the eight have had female calves within two months.

Admission of the New Children and Bishoftu's Group Homes

The organization's direct beneficiaries were selected through the Bishoftu, Oromia Women and Children affair offices.

The Oromia Regional State Transition Center is designed as a transition home. Due to the lack of permanent homes for the children residing at this facility, many are double orphans and in need of a permanent family. After visiting the facility, B Loved's staff members were able to secure the placement of eleven children in the Bishoftu group homes. The center's management was delighted with B Loved's mission and intervention plan.

Among the eleven children, there are three sibling groups. The first is two brothers, the second is one boy and two girls, and the third siblings are four girls and one boy.

B Loved arranged for the temporary housing of the children in two group homes in Bishoftu. The group homes are rentals until B Loved can build its own homes for the children.

Two mothers and two aunts were selected to look after the children in the Bishoftu group homes. B Loved also promoted a social worker from Sodo to the project director position for Bishoftu. The mothers and aunts were given an orientation program. The first phase of the training was on personal hygiene for the children.

On March 27, all of the children residing in the Bishoftu group homes were given to B Loved Ethiopia together with the director of the Oromia Regional State Transition Center.

WE HOPE YOU ENJOY GETTING AN UPDATE ON HOW THE KIDS ARE DOING AND EVERYTHING YOU ARE HELPING US ACCOMPLISH WITHIN THE B LOVED FOUNDATION.

If you've been thinking of sponsoring a child but haven't taken the following steps, don't wait. These kids genuinely feel your love, and the support changes their lives forever. Thank you for following along on our journey.
