We are thrilled to announce the baptism of Tamenech, Wubalem, and Simegn this past month!

The children attend bible class on a weekly basis at the church in Sodo and they all have grown spiritually.

We are so encouraged by their expression of faith!

Life Skill Training

Fifteen of the older kids received training given by the project director on the topic “Problem Solving Skills: The Seven Key Steps to Solve Problems” at the B Loved Ethiopia Holistic Development Center. This topic was chosen to expand the kid’s knowledge on approaching and solving problems. The training involved brain storming, a power point presentation, group discussion of certain scenarios, reflection, games, and refreshments.

Workshop

A partner meeting and sensitization workshop on human (child) trafficking and modern slavery was conducted by one of the NGO’s in Soddo named “Hope for Justice (formerly named Retrak Ethiopia)”. In this meeting, important information was shared on child trafficking and reunification of children with their families and community. A strategy was designed to work together on this issue and a bylaw was being prepared to enhance the networking effort. B Loved’s project director participated in the meeting and B Loved Ethiopia is going to be one of the members of the Network.

Surprise!          

We had a surprise visit from a special B Loved donor the first week of December. All Sodo and Addis Ababa children and the staff spent a fun day at Bora Amusement Park where children played different games and enjoyed delicious snacks. We all gave a huge thank you and the whole crew was photographed.
