June was a full month of learning, growth, and joyful connection across our homes in Sodo, Bishoftu, and Addis Ababa. Here are a few highlights we’re excited to share:

• Education: All of our children and university students continued their classes, with many completing final exams. Several students also took their regional and national examinations which is an important milestone in their education journeys.
• Spiritual Growth: Children across all homes are faithfully attending church and devotions. In Sodo, three children—Million, Baye, and Mandefro—were baptized this month, and we're so thrilled for this beautiful step in their walk with Christ.
• Family Visit: Dave and his family visited Ethiopia, spending meaningful time with children from all three homes. This gathering strengthened bonds and reminded the children of their extended family in the U.S.
• Celebrations & Outings: Birthdays were celebrated for several children, some for the very first time! The joy of cake, gifts, and shared laughter filled their hearts with confidence and belonging. Children also enjoyed a recreational outing to Bora play field, building friendships through games and fun.
• Skill Building: In Sodo, children received interactive training on effective study techniques, equipping them with tools to learn more confidently and successfully.
• Community Engagement: Our team joined the South Ethiopia GO/NGO Forum, where B Loved’s work was featured in a photo exhibition and highlighted on Fana Television. In Sodo, a traditional coffee ceremony with local households helped us share our vision and strengthen community support.
• Women’s Empowerment: We were honored to support Bishoftu’s Women’s Day celebrations and receive recognition for our ongoing commitment to equity and empowerment.
