Reunited!

After a long time away due to COVID-19, brother David Simpson came from the USA to visit the children. The kids had missed him so much and were so eager to see him. He was here for two weeks and had a wonderful visit with both Sodo and Addis kids. It was so great to be reunited!
The new Academic school year has begun for all of the kids. We were able to get everyone registered and purchased all necessary school supplies. They are anxious to get back to class and start learning new things.
Due to generous donors, two keyboards (one for boys and one for girls) and three Guitars for each group home were purchased and distributed to the kids. The children were all so thrilled and excited! They’ve started to play music at their home every day.
We have continued preventive efforts to keep everyone healthy including hygiene awareness and we talk to group homes about the importance regularly. Unfortunately, this past month a few kids were facing illness with the flu and ear infections. Thankfully all were treated accordingly and now they are well. Continued prayers for everyone’s health and safety, especially while going back to school, are greatly appreciated.
