Easter Holiday is one of the major Holidays that the B Loved Ethiopia kids celebrate. The Sodo and Addis kids celebrated the Holiday in a beautiful and memorable way.

The kids were taken to a big concert conducted by a young group of Sodo and there were performances of beautiful songs and music that the kids loved. They all attended the Holiday program at Sunday services with their moms and a social worker. They have learned about the meaning of Passover and talked about the resurrection for the whole month. The kids assisted the moms and aunts in preparation for the Holiday and were involved in the cleaning of the group homes and group home compound area. Everyone shared a delicious meal and the day’s festivities were enjoyed by all!

The community and church volunteers came frequently to the group homes and to the center to spend time with our kids. A team of volunteers came to B Loved Ethiopia Sodo project two times in the month of April. They celebrated Easter with the kids and shared Bible stories, gave advice, sang songs and played games. The volunteers also conducted a meeting with the social workers to discuss the summer kids program.

David, our founder, also came to visit all the kids. It was a joyful time to have fun, play games, swim, and play music together.
